Our idea for this table was to pair a raw wood surface with a natural finish with the sophistication of the theatrical black lacquered Chipendal-style legs. The Australian pine planks that form the top preserve all the imperfect perfection of the wood, with its knots, cracks and the fickle patterns of its grain. Each piece is unique and unrepeatable, and manages to reflect the uniqueness of nature in each of its contours.
